In its recent past, the Denver Curling Club was home to three Women's US National Champion teams who went on to compete at the World Championships, and two Mixed US national champion teams. The DCC sent curlers to US Junior Nationals, and we were represented well in many bonspiels throughout the country.

When those doors shut because of a dwindling curling community and resources, Denver lost a unique pastime.
In 2007, as a result of the overwhelming interest in curling during the 2006 Turin, Italy Winter Olympics, Denver Curling decided to resurrect itself. What started with 36 dedicated curlers blossomed into a curling community with over 300 active curlers. From 2007-2013 the Denver Curling Club curled on rented ice at the Ice Ranch in Highlands Ranch two nights a week but reached capacity due to the limited availability of ice rental. The new Denver Curling Center is opened in October 2014 and ushered in a new era of increased interest and availability of curling in Denver.

The Denver Curling continues to develop programs and raise awareness by offering opportunities for youth, the disabled, adult, senior, and local businesses to learn the game of curling and refine their skills of leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship and communication. With the evolved group of leadership the Denver Curling  has developed a diverse membership demographic.
