DCC Mixed Doubles Cashspiel 2026

Join us for the first DCC Summer Doubles Cashspiel! 

$400/team • 4 game guarantee • $5000 cash prize • This is the first event for the 26/27 season to earn points


Registration priority:

DCC teams get priority for spots. To qualify, you must both be DCC members and one member must have doubles points this season. 

Non DCC teams or DCC teams who don't have doubles points that are interested in playing: please fill out this google form.

  • Team submissions are due by 5pm MT Apr 12
  • After Apr 12, each team will be ranked according to their current WCT Mixed Doubles points from the 2025/2026 season
  • The top 4 teams will receive an automatic entry. A lottery, if needed, will be conducted for the remaining entries on Apr 13. Teams will be notified immediately after the lottery of their status and the link to officially register.

2026 Rocky Mountain Curling Invitational (non-Colorado)

$500 per team. Team entry only.

The RMCI is Denver Curling's annual start of season event. It is intended for competitive players to jump start their competitive season before playdowns. It is open to all team formations and adapatations (mens, womens, mixed, open, wheelchair, deaf, junior etc).

RMCI Details:

  • Dates: September 10-13, 2026
  • Location: Denver Curling Club
  • Format: 5-game minimum, 8-end games
  • Team Spots: 20, 24, or 28 teams, depending on interest
  • $500 Prize for the First Place Team
  • Open Format: Teams can be made up of any competitive curlers from any club 
  • Open to all competitive curlers of all skill levels and adaptations

Entry Fee: $500 (includes heavy snacks with local favorites and beverages—beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options).

  • Registration opens on June 15, 2026, at 12:00pm Mountain Time for both out-of-town and Colorado-based teams. 

Team spots breakdown:

  • 1 spot was won last year through the raffle
  • Out-of-Town Registration 6/15/26 12:00pm-7/15: 8 out-of-town team spots are guaranteed on a first-come, first-served basis (Out-of-town is defined as having at least two non-Colorado curlers). Please join the waitlist if the event is "full".
  • Colorado Teams 6/15/26 12:00pm-7/15: 7 Colorado team spots are also guaranteed first-come, first-served basis.
  • Sometime around 7/15: 8 spots will be drawn from a lottery of waitlisted teams (pulled on or around June 30, 2025). Teams will be selected from the waitlist via lottery four at a time to fill to 24 or 28 total teams. Any remaining open spots will be forfeited to the lottery.
  • Kim and Travis reserve the right to save one spot for themselves, should they choose to play. :-) 

Colorado-based team eligibility: The goal of these requirements is to maintain a competitive tournament. We recommend all teams consider these requirements when registering. If you'd like to come play and have any questions about the requirements, please reach out to discuss! To qualify for the guaranteed Colorado spots, 3 of 4 team members must meet one of the following: 

  • Played in a national event or regional playdown in the last 3 years (for example club playdowns; mixed playdowns; USCA national championships, pre-trials or trials; wheelchair identification camps; WCT or other cash spiels; USCA senior nationals; USWCA nationals; U5 Nationals; U18 nationals; and junior playdowns/nationals, or other similar events.
  • Played in the DCC Tuesday competitive league.
  • Advanced to an A-bracket semifinal in any bonspiel in the last 3 years

Anticipated Draw

  • Practice slots will be available Wendesday evening.
  • Pool play will begin Thursday morning at 8am. First draws for all teams will be Thursday at 8am, 11am, or 2pm.
  • "Late start" requests will be considered first come first serve, with the caveat that local junior teams will get priority.
  • Playoffs will start Sunday morning, with the final draw anticipated to start at 12pm.
