Streaming fundraiser

Our club has grown as well as our audience.

Help us take the next step to support our fans: getting all four sheets streamed!

Where things stand today
Currently, we have a single camera setup on Sheet B. During league nights, bonspiels, and larger events, we stream Sheets B and C together on one feed. While this works, it’s limited. Our goal is to upgrade to individual sheet camera setups and streams for each sheet on YouTube, making games easier to follow and more accessible for everyone.

What it will take
A small team has been working behind the scenes to scope out the project. Between cameras, cabling, converters, installation, and other equipment, the total estimated cost is about $30,000.

How we’re funding it
After discussion, the best approach we found is through voluntary donations from members and the broader club community. The reason the we have decided this path is that while this upgrade would be a fantastic addition to the club, it’s not essential to day-to-day operations. Existing funds are prioritized for core needs like facility operations/maintenance and debt repayment so fundraising is required given that our ability to raise additional revenue is limited due to full leagues and minimal room for additional events throughout the year.

That said, the Board of Directors is committed to supporting the project and has agreed to contribute up to $10,000 if needed. Our goal is to raise as much as possible through donations so those funds can be preserved for other important priorities.

Fundraising Details

  • Total goal: $30,000
  • Minimum needed to proceed with the project: $20,000 in community donations
  • The Board will contribute up to $10,000 to help reach the goal if the minimum $20,000 is met
  • If we don’t reach $20,000 from community donations, all donations will be returned* and the project will not move forward
  • Once we reach $30,000, donations will close and any excess will be returned*
  • Fundraising runs through December 1, 2026

*Cash donations are harder to track if source is not identified. If refunds are required, cash donations may be placed in the club’s general donation fund and used at the Board’s discretion.
