OLYMPIC EXPERIENCE OPEN HOUSE

Want to curl like you see in the Olympics? Come give it a try with Denver Curling Club! 

Join us for a beginner-friendly introduction to curling—no experience needed! We will get you on the ice throwing and sweeping by the end of your session.

Please only register juniors ages 12-18 for this event.

 

What's included:

1hr 45 mins. guided on-ice session 

All curling equipment 

 

What you need to bring: 

Clean, rubber soled athletic shoes. No open toed shoes or high heels

Warm, comfortable clothing 

13 and under must wear a helmet (bicycle, ski helmet is ok). Over 13 helmet is optional.

 

 What you'll learn: 

Learn how to slide and deliver the stone like you've seen on TV

Find out how to sweep and what it does

Get an explanation of the yelling - and get to do it

Hear more about how juniors get to Nationals or the Olympics

 

Once registered, please fill out our Participant Release Waiver online. A separate waiver is required for each registered participant. This is required for the on-ice sessions. Save trees and time during check-in!
