2025-26 Membership and league registration (members)

As a club of over 450 people we strive to meet everyone's desire for curling.  We need everyone to help by reading and understanding the information below. Please do your part and sign up for your Membership and Leagues per the schedule.

Season

Leagues run October 2025 - April 2026

Cost

Due to rising costs of running the facility, adult memberships are increasing by $5 for the year. Junior Memberships and Social Memberships costs remain the same. League fees will increase by $20 per league. The lower price of weekend leagues reflects the fact that there are fewer league nights due to bonspiels and other events.

Adult membership: $280/year

Junior & Social Memberships: $100/year

League fees: increase by $20/year/league

  • Weekday and weeknight leagues (Mon - Thu): $385/year/league
  • Weekend leagues (Fri - Sun): $325/year/league

Weekend sessions

Weekend league registration will be for the full season. We will no longer have a Fall and a Winter session. If you need to play only half a season, please let Megan know, and we will work to accomodate you.

Registration Priority + schedule (READ THIS!)

As communicated at the Annual Meeting,no one has a guaranteed spot in any league.  Because we are a volunteer run organization you have the privilege of priority sign up for leagues you paid for last year.  This priority does not guarantee you a spot if you fail to sign up during phase 1 per the schedule.  Please mark your calendar and set an alarm now so you don't miss out. If you don't register for your current leagues during Phase 1, your spot will be up for grabs to curlers wanting to change or add leagues during phase 2. If your entire Tuesday night team does not register during Phase 1 your team may be cut from Tuesday night.

PHASE 0: Thursday July 17 - Thursday July 31:  All members purchase 2025-26 Annual Membership

Returning and new members purchase their membership. Having an active membership ensures you get important information including registration information. You must have an active 2025-26 membership to register for leagues.

PHASE 1: Monday Aug 4 - Thursday Aug 7: Existing members may register for existing leagues

  • Existing members can sign up for up to 2 leagues they registered for during 2024-25

  • Tuesday competitive league counts as one of your 2 leagues. You must register and pay for Tuesday night during this window. Competitive Tuesday night teams with players who fail to register by August 7 may be cut from Tuesday night.

  • If you have over 50 volunteer hours you may sign up for a third league for which you were registered during 2024-25

  • Being a fifth or subbing in a league does not grant you a priority for league registration

  • Phase 1 sign up will be via the Square Store accessible from the DCC website

PHASE 2: Monday Aug 11 - Thursday Aug 14: Existing members may switch/add

  • Curlers who were members of a league in 2024-25 can move to a different league or add a second league.

  • Members with 50+ volunteer hours may add a 3rd league.

  • Switch/Add will be first come, first served as in the past.

  • There will be a link to a google sheet to indicate the leagues you want to add or switch into.

  • If switching be sure to indicate which league , if any, you would like to switch out of.

  • If your switch is unsuccessful due to lack of space in the league requested, you will not be removed from the league you are switching out of.

PHASE 3: Monday Aug 18 - Thursday Aug 21: New member sign up

  • New members may register for up to 2 leagues depending on space available
